DSI GBR Surgical Mallet is used to insert bone tacks into the bone in cases of highly dense bone. The ergonomic design of the mallet handle allows it to be used comfortably with just one hand. It can be used for bone tack applicators of all sorts. A moderate implant is enough to insert the bone tack into a dense bone.

Although the mallet is intended as a GBR bone tack insertion instrument, It proves to be a versatile surgical tool. Its ability to deliver a powerful force allows for the effective insertion of osteotomes, chisels, and gouges into bones.
